Dianne and Mike
We've known Dianne for a long time and were very excited to help with her wedding. Dianne and Mike were married at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, her flowers were created by the Flower House in Livermore and her photographer was Rhee Bevere.

Dianne and Mike named all the tables after restaurants and bars in Chico where they met and fell in love. Under each name was a short (and often very funny) sentence as to why these places were important to them. Very memorable! Their favors were also fun, Swedish fish (Mike is an avid fisherman) and a Baci chocolate (Dianne's favorite) packaged in a pyramid box.

Unveiled created the programs, table names, place cards, menus and favors.

Bridesmaid Dress Dilemmas

Lately, many brides have been telling us they are having a problem finding a dress all the bridesmaids like. The advice they have been given is "It's your wedding, you get to choose what they wear and it doesn't matter if they like it". We don't agree with this. First, almost all bridesmaids pay for their own dresses. If they have to fork over $200 plus dollars for a dress they hate and will feel uncomfortable in, they will not have warm and fuzzy feelings for you. Second, you should want your maids to look great on your wedding day. These girls are your friends and family after all.

One trend we have noticed is letting the girls pick their own style dress after you tell them what color you want. Sally was in a wedding last year and was told to buy a chocolate brown dress. She found a fabulous dress that was on sale (score!) and looked great on her. She really has worn it again. The photos of the wedding party are beautiful with the maids wearing dresses that they all felt and looked beautiful in.
